27 Weeks

It’s the first official day of Autumn, and I feel so much bigger than even yesterday! Maybe it’s because I’m just now starting to venture out in fitted tops. Or maybe Baby White is simply growing quickly! Either way, the belly is certainly expanding. Things are keeping me so busy that the 2nd Trimester flew by! I’m now technically in the 3rd!

Pregnancy Stats:

How Far Along – 27 Weeks

Size of Baby – A Rutabaga? Maybe if I knew what one looked like I would have an idea about the size of my child…

Gender – Boy

Total Weight Gain – No updates

What I Miss – Tucking my knees into my chest while I sit on the couch.

Cravings – Nothing specific. Ate a bit too many sweets this week…welcome to Fall!

Symptoms – Sore nipples! Well, one in particular. Sheesh, I can’t imagine what breast feeding will be like!

Maternity Clothes – Nope

Worst Part of Pregnancy This Week – Being told how much I need to value the silence in my house while I can still get it. Come on people, encouragement is needed – surely it will be quiet during nap time!

Best Part of Pregnancy This Week – Jeremy and I read the baby a story! On the Night You Were Born is such a beautiful tale…I read it twice!

  1. It used to drive me nuts that everyone would say “sleep while us can bc you won’t be getting any when baby comes”…let me just tell you that once baby comes and he/she naps…the sleep for YOU is glorious. No more back pain, no more cramps, no more belly in your way!!!! It may only be a short sleep-but it’s GOOD sleep!:)

  2. You are so cute!!! It feels like just yesterday I was 27 weeks pregnant, now I have an almost 12 week old šŸ˜¦ About the sore nipple and breastfeeding… it will get better, trust me!!!

  3. You look amazing! Breastfeeding shouldn’t be painful. If it is then have the baby checked for tongue tie. With your diet that shouldn’t be an issue, but my last baby had a moderate tie and I was eating an incredibly nutrient dense diet.

    1. Thanks for the encouragement! I’ve never heard of tongue tie…what exactly is it? Hopefully the entire experience will be wonderful, but I am at least preparing myself for some setbacks!
