Week 14, 15, 16…A Little Belated

While we were on the cruise there was very little opportunity for logging onto the computer, much less typing something up and attaching photos! But we did manage to take many pictures during our trip, and I wanted to share a few of them!

14 Weeks

At our hotel the day of arrival
All aboard! Right after boarding the ship in Barcelona

As you may can tell, I wasn’t showing very much…especially when not wearing something skin tight!

15 Weeks

Stopping for a photo-op while in Mykonos

At 15 weeks, I can best describe the bump as a “food baby.” That pooch completely went away the day we got home – apparently there was way too much amazing gluten free foods at hand.

16 weeks minus 2 days

About to head out to Venice on our last full day of the trip

As you can tell, not much has changed in these three weeks. And I’m certainly not complaining!

Stats while we were traveling:

Size of the Baby: A Lemon, an Orange, and an Avocado – respectively 🙂

Total Weight Gain: That depends on what they were serving for dinner each night – the desserts were generally delicious!

What I miss: I really missed having a cocktail or wine with my husband after a long day of walking and sightseeing. When we did the wine tour in Tuscany I had a glass (or two), and once we toasted with champagne, but that was about the extent of it.

Cravings: None – all my wants were certainly met!

Symptoms: Belly button got even more shallow, and finally had to say good-bye to the belly ring. Other than that, I got overheated under the scorching Mediterranean sun, but so did everyone else!

Maternity Clothes: Although not maternity, I bought lots of long dresses and skirts, which made me feel better about the “beer belly” I thought I might be advertising.

Worst Part of Pregnancy this Week: The Heat and Sun! Although usually my friends, they were brutal.

Best Part of Pregnancy this Week: Allowing myself to indulge and not worry about missing a few workouts!
